Radiohead in Amsterdam

As I limber up for upcoming Radiohead gigs in Paris and London, here is the setlist from their show last night in Amsterdam …

amsterdam set list

In typically bloody-minded Radiohead style, they didn’t play the set closer everyone had wanted and anticipated – True Love Waits.

And this, of course, is why we love them …

Pitchfork ran a great live blog of the show, which you can catch up with here.

Listening to the set via an audio stream, I was especially intrigued by the drum-heavy versions of Burn the Witch …

… and There There …

There was also a rare outing for My Iron Lung, the first time the band had played it live since 2008 …

Of the band’s back catalogue, nothing was played from Pablo Honey, while only single songs were heard from OK Computer (Paranoid Android) and Amnesiac (You And Whose Army).

Meanwhile, the band played nine songs from the eleven that make up A Moon Shaped Pool – they didn’t play Glass Eyes or True Love Waits.

It will be intriguing to see whether there is any variation to the setlist for the second Amsterdam show tonight.

Meanwhile, roll on Paris on Monday …
